GRAHAM, N.C.
The mayor of Graham rescinded the state of emergency declaration Sunday.
Mayor Jerry Peterman issued the state of emergency Friday ahead of a weekend protest near a Confederate statue.
Click the video player above for coverage of Saturday's protest by WXII 12 News reporter Lee Anne Denyer.
[N.S.: I couldn’t get the video to play, but hit the link; you may be more fortunate, or less, as the case may be. At least I was spared listening to the racist terrorists.]
He said there was an “imminent threat” for [sic] widespread damage.

The restricted area, where it was unlawful to disobey any warning signs, barriers, or other structures that restrict people from entering, included where a Confederate statue stands in Courthouse Square.

Hundreds of protesters and counter-protesters gathered in the square Saturday during The March For Justice and Community.

The organizers, Justice 4 the Next Generation in partnership with Alamance Alliance for Justice and Alamance Agents for Change, marched 1.5 miles from Burlington to Graham at the beginning of the rally.

The group is calling for an end to racial oppression.

One person was arrested by the Burlington Police Department and another was arrested by the Alamance County Sheriff's Office, according to the Alamance County
Sheriff's Department. It is unclear what they have been charged with at this time.

At least two people were treated by paramedics for heat-related issues.

A large law enforcement presence guarded the Confederate monument and barricaded the protesters and counter-protesters from each other.

[N.S.: That’s Law Enforcement 101. In Charlottesville at the August 11, 2017, Unite the Right rally, chaos reigned and Heather Heyer died, because black supremacist chief of police, Al Thomas, and Nation of Islam deputy mayor, Wes Bellamy, wanted it that way.]

I haven't heard of one example that a statue of a White soldier oppressed a single,solitary person--ever.
Now those living negro types and antifa lowlifes--a lot of oppression coming from them.
