U.S. puts Iowa meth kingpin to death in 3rd federal execution this week
While out on bond in his drugs [sic] case in July 1993, Honken and his girlfriend Angela Johnson kidnapped Lori Duncan and her two daughters from their Mason City, Iowa, home, then killed and buried them in a wooded area nearby.
Incorrectly writing "drugs," instead of "drug" is a limey thing.
As for federal justice, I am seeing more and more states de facto eliminating justice (the death penalty) in murder cases with aggravating but few or no mitigating factors. This isn't even a matter of racist blacks engaging in jury nullification, on behalf of black cut-throats, because the decision is often made by the prosecutor, long before the case reaches the jury.
We'll have to wait and see whether this is a positive result of William Barr's tenure as AG, or some fluke.

More to follow hopefully. These bad guys all killed children. Justice was done.
