R.C.: Why block off a “freeway” for protests?
Doesn’t the driver pay road use taxes every time he fills up his gas tank?

In spite of claims that the driver was "a right wing extremist" that seems quite unlikely as the driver was a black Negro African immigrant. In any case, the authorities are to blame for doing a poor job of closing the freeway because the protestors were on the highway. If they had been doing their jobs the protestors would have been arrested for walking on the interstate highway. The protestors hit were white and if you look up their photos, look like real freaks.
They have blocked that interstate for nineteen days in a row.

The ON ramps were blocked but the driver got on the interstate by using the OFF ramp.
