GR CITY COMMISSION TO VOTE ON "Human Rights Ordinance"--FINING WHITES $500 FOR CALLING THE POLICE ON BLACKS/MEX.

The meeting starts at 7pm--I'll have results ASAP. Of course, they'll pass it. I’ll be very happy to be proven wrong.

N.S.: Blacks are constantly pulling hate crime hoaxes against whites, yet nobody talks about passing laws to punish them. Meanwhile, whites being targeted by such outrageously racist ordinances have called the cops on blacks who flagrantly broke contractual private housing rules, city ordinances, and state laws. That’s life in Jim Snow.

VOTE DOESN'T MATERIALIZE
GRA:I'm trying to piece together what's evolving with this ordinance vote.WOOD TV reported at 6pm that this would happen tonight, however at 6:18pm,WOOD.com had an update which suggested a vote later in the month. Also, possibly due to some backlash from whites, the proposed fine is being reduced from $500 to $100 for whites who call the cops on blacks,"without reason."
Here's the online update with commentary:
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids city commissioners are set to decide a series of measures created to protect the rights of Grand Rapids(non-white) residents, months after they were first proposed.

Presented in April, the proposal expanded who is protected and how.

Grand Rapids has had an ordinance protecting civil rights since 1953, but the policies had vague definitions and were difficult to enforce.

Revisions to the policy, written after a public hearing in April, also improved guidelines for how the city handles a complaint.

Some issues like housing and job discrimination will be referred to partner agencies, like the Fair Housing Center of West Michigan or the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. For complaints including sexual orientation discrimination, Grand Rapids’ Diversity & Inclusion office will work with the city attorney’s office to determinate the appropriate process.
(GRA:Here's the anti-white section.According to THIS report, the fine on white citizens has been lowered to $100 from $500.It's the first I've seen of a lower fine.)

The new ordinance would also include penalties for rights violators, including a $100 ticket for those who dial 911 to try to use police to enforce their own bigotry. That part of the ordinance change is in response to the so-called “Barbecue Beckys” of the world.
It is now scheduled to be voted on later this month.
GRA:Maybe by then, the $100 fine can be eliminated and the whole plan scrapped.I'm not sure if the initial report was aired correctly (I'm assuming it wasn't)or where this proposal stands--except a vote is promised sometime in August (secretly?).The next meeting isn't until a month from now,so a vote later this month makes little sense.I will keep NSU posted.

LOCAL CHANNEL TRYING TO GET MUSKEGON COP FIRED FOR CONFEDERATE FLAG,KKK ITEM
GRA:WOOD has been pushing this story every day with KKK this and flag that. Now,they have 400 lb black reporter Leon Hendrix putting HIS two cents in on it,trying to create an uproar that will get a white cop fired.Imho, only if his police career shows malfeasance, should he be terminated--not for his private beliefs.I'll bet if he hated white guys--THAT would be fine. Most black cops hate whites--does THAT matter to anyone?
MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Days after news broke that a Muskegon police officer had Ku Klux Klan memorabilia in his home, concerned citizens addressed the matter at Tuesday’s city council meeting.

“If he has these ideas or if he has these philosophies, does he possibly inflict them on other people of color?” wondered Lowell Kirksey, one of the Muskegon citizens who addressed the city council.

The city garnered national press attention after a man looking to buy a new house toured Officer Charles Anderson’s home, which was listed for sale. In the home he noticed Confederate flags on display and an application for KKK membership in a frame hanging in a bedroom. The man took photos of what he saw, shared them on social media and the story spread quickly.
(GRA:THAT was unnecessary invasion of privacy).
Intensifying the storyline was the fact that Anderson shot and killed a black man 10 years ago in Muskegon. The shooting was ruled justified by then-Muskegon County Prosecutor Tony Tague.
(GRA:Anderson was beaten badly by a black thug--there are pics).

“Him being on the force, as minorities in Muskegon, we can’t leave our houses and feel safe,” said Ebony Davis, who organized a group to come to the city commission meeting.

“We want to support our officers. But if you’ve got a racist intent, we can’t have you around,” Kirksey said.

Reyna Mathis toured the home with her husband Rob and their children. It was her husband who posted the story on his Facebook page. Mathis addressed the commission with questions.

“I was obviously the one that toured officer Anderson’s home,” she said as she wiped away tears. “Nobody has contacted my family or myself. … I just wanted to know why?”

Muskegon Police Chief Jeffrey Lewis quickly approached Reyna Mathis after the meeting and spoke with her.

Lewis declined to talk specifics about the case, citing the ongoing internal investigation, but he promised to share results of the department’s review of the situation with the public. While the review continues, Anderson is on paid administrative leave.

Lewis said the situation is “absolutely not” reflective of the Muskegon Police Department.

“This was not an on duty event. We were taken by surprise when this occurred and we’re taking action now,” he told News 8.

When asked to describe Anderson outside of the recent developments, the chief declined.

“I can’t talk about Charles Anderson. We’re doing an inquiry,” Lewis said. “We’re going to come to some kind of a conclusion or resolution very soon.”
