Woman Candidate for City Council in Marysville [who prefers whites], Drops Out of Race—Will Remain on Ballot

MARYSVILLE, Mich. (AP) — A city council candidate in Michigan who said she wants to keep her community white “as much as possible” has withdrawn from the race.

The Times Herald in Port Huron reports that Jean Cramer on Monday submitted a letter to Mayor Dan Damman withdrawing from the race in Marysville. City Manager Randy Fernandez says Cramer’s name will remain on the Nov. 5 city election ballot.

The 67-year-old Cramer created a furor (GRA: Chuckle) with comments she made first at a public forum and later during an interview outside her home. At the forum she said she wanted to keep the community about 55 miles (88.51 kilometers) northeast of Detroit white “as much as possible.”

In a subsequent interview, Cramer said she didn’t think people of different races should marry.

GRA: Will she win, in spite of dropping out? I watched her speak to the rabid, bloodthirsty, anti-white media. They overwhelmed her with questions and this woman, an obvious rookie, was shaking and very nervous, as she struggled to answer their trick questions—they ate her for lunch.

I'm rooting for a miracle at the election.

N.S.: Unfortunately, I believe that any chance Cramer had ended when she withdrew, even if her name still is on the ballot. But she will get some protest votes, whereupon Goodthinkers will eye their neighbors suspiciously, wondering, “Were you one of them?”
