With time off for "good behavior," how long will he actually spend time in prison? To the inmates and PC America, he did a good deed.

Article says 19 years--228 divided by 12 is 19. First he should be thrown off the same place as the kid. Then, if he survives he can serve the 19 months in a wheelchair.
This crime calls for extreme punishment. A child was attacked by an adult in an effort at murder. Normally such a crime would call for three times the amount of punishment. I must be getting old. This bad guy had priors too. An incorrigible. Never going to reform or do different.
