Confederate plaque removed from West Virginia courthouse

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A plaque honoring Confederate soldiers has been removed from a West Virginia courthouse.
The Journal reports the Jefferson County Commission voted 3-2 last week to remove the plaque and it has been taken down.
Officials have been discussing the plaque's future since a letter requesting its removal(GRA:that's all it takes now) was sent to county officials last year immediately following violent protests at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, which had been organized in part to protest the planned removal of a statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee.
Some residents with family who fought on the Confederate side of the Civil War argued that the plaque should remain.
Commissioner Jane Tabb said she voted for the removal to be sensitive to the African-American community.
(GRA:Yes,plus there'd be riots and the plaque would be stolen anyways).
Officials said it's unclear whether the plaque will be relocated(GRA:probably in a 500 foot ditch that houses other white history).
GRA:I laughed when I saw the call letters of the station--WBOY--which I can't believe is allowed to exist.After all,doesn't it stand for White BOY?WBOY.

What colored community? WV the most white stat in the Union.
It's the state they're envisioning in the near future,where blacks and their WIK cards are welcomed,blossoming into the next Mississippi or Georgia.They have to get rid of that anti-black stuff NOW,or the A-A's won't take the bus to this fair state...lol.We're supposed to put up with THEIR statues of MLK and Rosa Parks (here in GR),but they can't tolerate OUR history.It's bullsh*t!!!!
