GRA: Update: TV news reported 3 shot and 1 dead at one location (one “deceased” was revived). Then a few blocks away, another woman was found dead in her house, late this afternoon. GRPD saying "the deaths are not connected" (really?).

This is all original ghetto area on the SE side of GR. At least 60-70% black, and some Mex, as well.

It's been relatively quiet, after a violent and deadly first three months, in which eight murders were committed—only a couple murders since then, until today.

The suspects are believed to be holed up in a neighborhood house, where SWAT and most of the city police are gathered. The rest of GR police are at the second location. Further details, if interesting.

Quick update: Police had a news conference—correcting the report of the number of dead at the first location. Initially, a report of three shot and two dead. Actually, three were shot, but no fatalities (one in critical condition).
At the second crime scene, a woman IS dead, in what cops say is “the result of a violent crime.” Police are massed in that area about five blocks away. Police continue to insist, though 911 calls were received moments apart, that the two crime scenes are not related.

SNAFUs ABOUND AFTER SHOOTING AND SUSPICIOUS DEATH
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. Mich. (WOOD) — A father and his teen son were wounded when shots were fired on Grand Rapids' southeast side Sunday afternoon.

The shooting happened around 4:20 p.m. along Watkins Street at Fuller Avenue SE, near Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

The Grand Rapids Police Department said a 17-year-old and 48-year-old man were injured. Both were hospitalized and are expected to survive. A neighbor told 24 Hour News 8 he saw one of the victims had a wound to his arm.

Police have not released the victims' names.

GRPD initially said two people were killed, then revised that to say only one was dead. Then, during a press conference shortly after 6:30 p.m., Sgt. Cathy Williams said no one was killed.

"No one has died here today," she said.

She said the confusion was the result of multiple 911 calls that came in within a few minutes reporting people had been killed and confusion about an unrelated scene at which a body was found. She apologized for releasing the incorrect information.

After the shooting, police surrounded a nearby home they believed was connected to the shooting and shut down stretches of Watkins and Fuller. They later entered the house, confirmed the shooter was not inside and started processing it for evidence.

Police said they were looking for one shooter, but they didn't have a suspect description to release. [Translation: Black male, with a record of priors as long as your arm.] They also didn't release any information about a motive.

Anyone with information is asked to call GRPD at 616.456.3400 or Silent Observer at 616.774.2345.

Williams said detectives are "confident" the shooting is not linked to the death of woman whose body was found only a couple of blocks away in the area of Franklin Street and Dolbee Avenue SE. That death is being investigated as suspicious.

GRA: What a clusterf**k. In addition, no descriptions of the suspect are being given (though who else but black thugs would do this crime).

MISSING WHITE WOMAN FROM KALAMAZOO MAY BE DECAPITATED BODY FOUND IN GRAND RAPIDS BLACK GHETTO.
GRA:Lots of speculation that a missing white woman, last seen at an Eastown Grand Rapids bar a few days ago,may be the body found decapitated yesterday,5 blocks from a double shooting.
Suspicious death investigation after body found.
OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office confirms a missing woman was last seen traveling to Grand Rapids.

Ashley Regina-Maria Young, 31, of Oshtemo Township was reported missing Sunday. She was last seen heading to Grand Rapids last week.

Her family told 24 Hour News 8 she was last seen driving a 2006 light gold, four-door Ford Focus. The vehicle has black door handles, which most models are light gold, as well as a dent on the rear driver's side door.

The family was in Grand Rapids Sunday where a body was discovered in the area of Franklin Street and Dolbee Avenue SE. Grand Rapids police have not yet said when the body was found or by whom, nor have they said how the female may have died. They are investigating the death as suspicious.

As of Monday afternoon, the Grand Rapids Police Department has not release any information about the woman's identity.

Her family said Young was last seen with a man who lives in a house police were searching. Authorities have not confirmed her case has any connection to the body.
GRA:If the body turns out to be the missing woman, the odds are 95% that the killer is a ghetto black.I will keep everyone updated.

MORE INFO ON DECAPITATED BODY/MISSING WHITE WOMAN
GRA:
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The woman's body found in Grand Rapids Sunday, prompting a suspicious death investigation, had been dismembered, a source with knowledge of the investigation told 24 Hour News 8.

The Grand Rapids Police Department spokesperson did not confirm that information. The source spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak publicly about the case.

GRPD has been tight-lipped about the details of what it's calling a "sensitive case." Investigators haven't said who they think the victim is, how long she has been dead or how she died. They say they have to be meticulous about what information is released so as not to jeopardize their investigation, which is why they didn't expect to have an update for the public until Tuesday.

The body was found in the area of Franklin Street and Dolbee Avenue SE, where police had a house taped off for hours Sunday as they investigated. After a judge granted a search warrant, they entered the home and took one person away in handcuffs.

Records confirm that same man was booked into the Kent County jail Monday.

GRPD said detectives met with members of the Kent County Prosecutor's Office Monday, but didn't say about what.

Residents in the area where the body was found told 24 Hour News 8 they weren't surprised to see a parade of police lights and crime scene tape, saying the neighborhood has had problems in the past(GRA:Lol,to say the least).
GRA:No one identified yet publicly. This is an all black area.WOOD talked with the neighbors and you'd have thought you were in Kenya. If this IS the missing white woman, another lesson that can hopefully be learned by other white females(though I doubt it).

ODDS DON'T PAN OUT--WHITE MAN ARRESTED IN SUSPICIOUS DEATH--NOT FOR MURDER,YET.
(FOX 17)GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.--A (white)man was formally charged today in a death investigation in Grand Rapids.

But, there are still many more questions than answers in this case.

Jared Chance, 29, was officially charged this afternoon with one count of mutilation of a dead body and one count of concealing the death of an individual, crimes(black) neighbors say they are shocked to hear.

On Sunday around 4:30 pm, police were called to a home on Franklin street SE where Chance was living.
(GRA:I repeat,this area is 95% ghetto black.)

Officers found the remains of a woman in the home.

Chance was found in the upstairs apartment and taken into custody in connection with the suspicious death.

Neighbors say they noticed odd behavior but say they are shocked to hear that something like this could've happened just next door

Police say that because of the condition of those remains they have not been able to identify the victim, and they’re asking for the public’s patience.
(GRA;WOODTV is reporting that Chance was Facebook friends with the missing Oshtomo white woman.Witnesses say both were seen together at a GR bar last Saturday night. This guy is a 3 time felon, the kind of white guy that WOULD live in a black hood.)
Chance is charged as a 4th time habitual offender, meaning he could face life in prison if convicted.
GRA:That's the latest.A 5% chance the perp would be white--and it appears right now, that's exactly what happened.Ashley Young drove 50 miles from her home to get murdered by a man named Chance.

Finally,in the "Voodoo" double shooting that occurred 5 blocks from the location of the decapitation/murder I reported on elsewhere, the odds DID work out on this case as blackie,Otis Lee Walker was arrested.Police say he turned himself in (probably thinking he'd get a reward lol).
