You can blame the media for that -- they've given Blacks the hint about this 'get out of jail free' card for decades now. Both by 'not reporting race' and for promoting myths like 'white privilege'. According to the media, nothing is worse or more prevalent than white racism -- it's so bad it justifies a physical assault in retaliation.
