Longoria as she really looks, L, and all tarted up for work, R.

I've now got a new reason for hating alleged actress Eva Longoria: She has put me in the position of having to defend Newt Gingrich.
For once, Gingrich made a positive suggestion: That poor kids do work in schools, like helping to keep them clean, in order to develop a work ethic. The coddled Longoria, who has no idea what it's like to be poor and surrounded by criminals with a welfare mentality, immediately attacked him, arguing that he was racist against Hispanics, when he hadn't said a thing about Hispanics—I'm sure he was thinking more of blacks—and lying, asserting that Hispanics start businesses at six times the rate of non-Hispanics.
The first law of lying is plausibility, Eva, dear.
That Gingrich is a shameless amnestisiac means nothing to Longoria because: 1. She's incredibly stupid, uninformed, and obnoxious; 2. She's racist, even though she clearly has a lot of white blood in her; and 3. She's a leftwing Democrat and rabid devotee of the John Doe calling himself "Barack Obama."
Someone can only call Gingrich's suggestion "racist" who expects "poor" (non-white) kids to spend their entire lives living off of whites.
The last time I can recall a response that hostile to a both practical and morally positive idea from Gingrich was when he suggested that orphanages be brought back for the children of crackheads and other negligent and abusive parents. All of the Google entries I saw for "Newt Gingrich" and "orphanages" are from 1994, but he first made the suggestion at least five years earlier. I vividly recall a social work colleague in 1989, a white divorcee of a certain age who was a socialist and generally an insufferable feminist (she did not like men) who whispered to me in an otherwise empty office that she thought Gingrich was right.
Oh, and by the way, Longoria isn't even pretty. Pictures of her without her makeup and false eyelashes depict an ordinary-looking woman. So, she has no talent, no brains, no decency and no looks.

Eva Longoria has turned to Twitter to criticize GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich's controversial proposal to use children as janitors, writing: "@newtgingrich you clearly know little about the Latina community, Latina entrepreneurs who start businesses at 6 times the national average." The Hill reported.
Last Thursday, Gingrich defended his controversial plan to have school children from poor neighborhoods serve as janitors.
"Really poor children, in really poor neighborhoods have no habits of working and have nobody around them who works so they have no habit of showing up on Monday," Gingrich claimed.
"They have no habit of staying all day, they have no habit of I do this and you give me cash unless it is illegal," he added.
Latino children have one of the highest poverty rates in the country, according to statistics from the National Poverty Center. Thirty-five percent of Latino children live in poverty, compared to the 38 percent of African-American children and 12 percent of white children, according to The Hill.

Longoria, an outspoken Obama supporter who turned her Twitter fury in Gingrich on Saturday, also tweeted a link to The New York Times' Charles M. Blow Op-Ed column, "Newt's War on Poor Children.

Blow argued that the former speaker's statement not only was "cruel and broadly speaking, incorrect, it's mind-numbingly tone-deaf at a time when poverty is rising in this country. He comes across as a callous Dickensian character in his attitude toward America's most vulnerable -- our poor children. This is the kind of statement that shines light on the soul of a man and shows how dark it is."
Blow also tweeted his thoughts on Gingrich:

If you're poor, Newt wants you to send your kids to school with books and broom so that they can learn their place in life...

If Newt *actually* cared he might've said: "Let's create condition for EVERY CHILD to have a working role model and is not lured into crime"
Earlier today, Gingrich did not appear to back away from his comments, tweeting that he had been recently "talking about the importance of learning the work ethic early in life. What was your first job? #firstjob"

Longoria seemed to want to demonstrate not only her patriotism but also her "work ethic" when she tweeted yesterday:

Is this Twitter battle escalating?

I wanted to post a comment in answer to yours on aol concerning Joseph Naso, but was unable to post there, so followed your link to here. Just wanted to let you know that back in August 1969, out of the blue on a sunny afternoon as I came out of my office for lunch, Naso stood in front of me with his camera to take my photo. I was young and stupid and fell for his chat and in minutes in had me in a half-built apartment block in an empty room with an open window. He said to me "Look down there". I looked down, it was frightening. I was scared by then. I assume he must be Puerto Rican or someting, for then he said to me "Are you sick". Then I was really scared out of my wits for I had heard Puerto Ricans refer to a girl having her period as her being "sick". I didn't but I said yes. He then hurridly left and I never saw him again. But I always knew he had intended to rape, kill and throw me out of that windowless window. I thought about it all through the years and even watched out on the Crime and Investigation network wondering if there would be a program on him. Then the other day I saw him. I couldn't believe my eyes, that he was only caught now. I know I should have reported the incident back in 1969 but I had nothing to go on. I didn't even know his name. I have thanked God many times throughout the years, as I should have been one of his early victims and only I said "Yes" to his question, had I said No, I was gone.
