MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — President Donald Trump on Thursday threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act and deploy troops to quell persistent protests against the federal officers sent to Minneapolis to enforce his administration’s massive immigration crackdown.
The president’s threat comes a day after a federal immigration officer shot and wounded a Minneapolis man(GRA:illegal Venezuelan) who had attacked the officer with a shovel and broom handle. That shooting further heightened the fear and anger radiating across the Minnesota city since an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fatally shot Renee Good in the head.
Trump has repeatedly threatened to invoke the rarely used federal law to deploy the U.S. military or federalize the National Guard for domestic law enforcement, over the objections of state governors.
“If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don’t obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the INSURRECTION ACT, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State,” Trump said in social media post.

AP did not explain WHY the invader was shot Wednesday,but better news organizations than AP described, "the ICE officer being jumped by two others as he tried to remove a Venezuelan illegal. GRA:I watched "morning Joe's" version of last night's fight between ICE and an illegal venezuelan they were attempting to restrain and take in.
Fill-in host, Willie Gist ignored the report of Jonathan Ross sustaining internal bleeding from Renee Good's SUV,saying," We cannot believe the early government reports of these incidents--take for example--how different the ACTUAL version of the "Good shooting" was,from the earliest versions."
Frey,meanwhile,stated that,"residents are asking local police to fight ICE in the streets,"which--wink,wink--he must be in favor of or Frey wouldn't have brought it up at all.
His and comrade Mika Brezinsky's White guests accused President Trump's administration of,"putting their thumb on the scale on these types of incidents."
Meanwhile,everywhere on nbc,reports on last night's confrontation were told with the phrase,"another shooting,exactly(or "just") one week after the Renee Good shooting"--as if ONE WEEK means anything.

(mynewsla)A 17-year-old girl was among three people believed to be family members who were killed Thursday in an apparent shooting inside a Lakewood home.
Deputies and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded about 7:55 a.m. Thursday to the 5800 block of Lorelei Avenue, near South Street.
When deputies arrived, they were met outside the home by a woman who was taken into custody for questioning, while inside they found three dead people — the teen girl and a man and a woman, all thought to be from the same family, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detective Daniel Vizcarra told reporters at the scene.
A gun was found at the scene.

Walz accused P.T. of "weaponizing the justice system,"which is what blacks say about cops when,in those all too infrequent occasions,they get arrested for felonies.
