N.S.: I generally like Amuse, but he's all wet here. Not only is there a law enforcement conspiracy to deceive people about the color of crime, but it's obvious, has been ongoing for generations, and joins the other law enforcement conspiracy of "disappearing" crime (including murder).

The corruption within police departments and the criminal justice bureaucracy is so entrenched and pervasive, and so lacking in consequences that there is no limit to the spread of fake stats. Once upon a time, when precinct commanders (e.g., Louis Vega of the Bronx' 5-0 precinct) or division chiefs (e.g., Kenneth O'Donoghue of the nycpd's transit division) would get caught presiding over a regime of fraud, they'd get fired or demoted. However, then-mayor Michael Bloomberg started waving off such scandals, snapping, “C’mon, it is just not the case.” The corruption was greatly aided and abetted by journalism fraud Heather Mac Donald, and several academic “criminologists” (I've got a stack of their books) who, like Mac Donald, acted as if they'd never heard of the scandals.

I flipped the order, because the most effective practice of "disappearing" crime is de-policing, which became a public matter in 1999, after a cop wrote about it. When cops ignore crime, they don't have to bother writing fraudulent reports.

Another issue, which I have yet to write about (that I can recall) is the institutionalization, on urban police forces, of radical diversity training, and the hiring of applicants who are unfit for the job. The unfit candidates are loyal to non-White criminals, act like radical lawyers on the job, and they and the diversity training undermine the resolve of men who would otherwise be diligent policemen.

Another factor is media operatives who are loyal to non-White criminals, and who conspire with them and with "activists" to frame righteous White policemen for non-existent crimes, and/or to get them murdered.
