Unusual murder witness in nigadelphia: 18-year-old is afro-sheened, but a witness to it--sleeping in his car--was a 94-year-old!
"philadelphi (wpvi) -- an 18-year-old male was shot and killed early tuesday morning in the strawberry mansion section of the city, according to police.
"the shooting occurred just before 12:30 a.m. near 31st and Norris streets.
"police said more than 10 shots were fired from multiple locations in the area. the victim ran from the scene but collapsed in the backyard of a home in the 1900 block of north 31st street.
"he had been shot in the stomach and was found unresponsive. he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
[N.S.: Sounds like a hit.]
"homicide detectives returned to the scene later in the day, reviewing surveillance video and interviewing witnesses. a rental bike left behind in the area was also part of the investigation.
"Ronald Clark, 94, was asleep in his car nearby when the gunfire erupted.
"'I heard a gunshot - all the gunshots shooting down there and all the way down there,' Clark said. a bullet pierced the hood of his car.
"chief inspector Scott Small said investigators are receiving information that the shooter or shooters may have been part of a group [gang!] of three individuals believed to be in their mid-to-late-teens.
"Danielle Sepplee, a nearby resident, expressed her concern about the violence.
"'that could've been my son, a little kid's father, anything,' Sepplee said. [GRA: Yawn. N.S.: blacks think the dumbest cliches contain deep meanings.]
"police said the suspects [perps!] may have fled the scene in a white or very light-colored suv. the investigation is ongoing. [Got that, GRA?! "the investigation is ongoing."]
GRA: Did the 94-year-old's pop tell Ronald to stay outside, so he could "entertain" a special lady? Why else would you sleep in your car like the story says?

94 yr. old and sleeping in his car? Must be homeless, hard to believe someone that old could survive that long on the street but somehow he's done it.
Maybe Mrs. Clark has something to do with why Mr. Clark was sleeping in his car. No, not inspired by any personal experiences, not at all, no sirree.
Like if it was his bowling night and he went out drinking with the boys and stayed too late and couldn't find his house key and was scared to wake up Mrs. Clark.
Or she heard gossip about him getting all flirty with a younger woman, like in her 80s, and kicked him out of the house.
Anyway.... yeah, those are longshots. I just wanted to give the old guy his due. If he has to testify, I hope he makes some blunt remarks about the sociology of Philadelphia.
