Surprising, shocking, amazing that Hollyweird hasn't done an open-minded, un-closeted remake. It's the natural next step. What in the world has prevented it from happening by now? A blended "family" of eight would be just the vehicle to promote the redefined "family" in multiple directions, not just the one Robert Reed chose.
