DOMESTIC "ISSUES" LEAD TO FARM LAND MASS SHOOTING IN YORK COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
NORTH CODORUS TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPVI) -- Three police officers were fatally shot and two wounded Wednesday in York County,Pennsylvania, and the shooter was killed by police, authorities said.
The officers were at the scene, amid rolling farmland, to follow up on a domestic-related investigation that began the previous day.
"This is an absolutely tragic and devastating day," Gov. Josh Shapiro said. "We grieve the loss of life of three precious souls who served this county, who served this Commonwealth, who served this country."
"This kind of violence is not OK. We need to do better as a society," Shapiro said at a news conference.
[GRA: Get real--the country is beserk--mostly blacks--but some Whites and a lot of mex, too.]
It was one of the deadliest days for Pennsylvania police this century. In 2009, three Pittsburgh officers responding to a domestic disturbance were ambushed and shot to death by a man in a bulletproof vest.

She [Elizabeth Vargas] looks like a ventriloquist--talking without moving her mouth. Maybe tomorrow she brings out a Kimmel or Gutman wooden "dummy" to begin a new way to read news. I'D watch that.

Governor Josh Shapiro continues his "Preserve My 2028 Viability" tour. So far, a winning streak.
Oh the tedium of it all, having to show concern for these rural types who don't have the sense to move to a condo or 4-bedroom close to public transit. You know that the entire nation needs your services right now. All these stupid backwaters full of bitter clingers. Why can't it be a liberal Philly suburb? Or Pittsburgh? Or State College?
It was easy, just floods, with weeks or months in between each one.
But such no-name places: Meyersdale, Garrett, Upper Makefield Township, The Antietam School District. And the totally depressing 1930s landscape of Westfield. You said "it was heartbreaking" - yeah, of course - going to a Trump 75% county - the but state rep already has them well-trained to believe that all good things come from Harrisburg and ditto from the RINO Congressman stringing them along for decades, always just one more federal grant away from a revitalized downtown and bribing sustainable industries to bring new clean 'n' green jobs.
So you have the flood routine down pat. Bring other people's money and when that runs out, bark at DC for more money. Yeah, what's taking the Small Business Administration so long? It's like Trump is Bush. If only you'd been President during Hurricane Katrina!
But York County ("North Codorus Township") was tricky. This time its guns, not water, and you had to bite your tongue. Over and over again. All day long.
Looks like you came through it okay. The media portrayed you as a strong yet sensitive leader. Mitt Romney tried that act when the tiles fell off the ceiling of the Big Dig tunnel, the billion-dollar boondoggle about which John Kerry said "This tunnel will be a bargain!" That engineering diagram of ceiling tiles and Mitt there with the pointer was really something. It was supposed to be Mitt's magical connection with the little people but the media pulled the rug out from under him.
Such as sharing video of you mingling with the commoners and the first responders. More than enough for the primaries and the general election too. Newsom et al are not happy about having to one-up you on the disaster meet 'n' greets. One of our media plants is going to try to trick Kamala into stepping into a rubber raft in rough waters. That could be funnier than Dukakis in the tank wearing a helmet.
Tough break on the Codorus demographics, though. 98% White, like Westfield all over again. Can you believe there's still places like that in America? We re-re-watched the video and still can't find any Persons Of Color. But on the other hand, the shooter was white too. So you dodged a ... um... you dodged a statistic there.
So now you can bring up gun control fresh and friendly and do it on your terms. We'll do a presser some Monday morning after a bloody weekend in Philadelphia and make it all about the guns, those guns, those terrible guns. More footage for the campaign and this time with diversity! Philly will always come through for you, with or without mail-in ballots.
