grand rapids: Go to the park, become a dead mark--nig hotspot finishes with an ice-cold coon corpse
"grand rapids, mich. (wood) — a man was shot and killed at a grand rapids park saturday night, police say.
"police: one shot at grand rapids park saturday
"it happened at around 7 p.m., according to the grand rapids police department, at Mackay-jaycees park on Kalamazoo avenue off of 28th street."
[GRA: Lots of blacks there.]
"police told news 8 that there was a fight before shooting. grpd said life saving measures were made on the man, but were unsuccessful.
[GRA: How do you get into a "fight" at a PARK? A nice spot to relax--for NORMAL people.]
"a suspect has not been located and an investigation is ongoing, grpd said."

But 7:00pm Saturday "night" this weekend was daytime, over an hour before sunset way out there on the western edge of the time zone.
Take it away, Spanky:
Blue sky, sunshine,
What a day to take a walk in the park!
Ice cream, daydreams,
'Til the sky becomes a blanket of stars!
Condolences. Looks like you imported more than just a Chief from the Chicago PD: Chicago followed him there and he'll leave it behind when he climbs the ladder to a bigger department. At least he kind of looks sort of law enforcement-ish, unlike that Commissioner Jessica Tisch in NYC.
Yeah, I know it's coming here. The cops next door in Chocolate City are doing their best to keep a lid on things. A shooting here, a shooting there, not every week. But you just kind of know that in a decade plus or minus it probably goes boom.
Good song--among many that year.

"GENTLE GIANT" BECOMES EVEN MORE GENTLE AFTER TAKING ONE FATAL BULLET AT GRAND RAPIDS PARK
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say a family is “devastated” after a man was killed when a fight escalated to a shooting at a Grand Rapids park over the weekend.
“For … someone to show up with a handgun and think that was a solution to whatever dispute was going on, that’s so offensive and so out of line with what this community deserves and what it wants,” Grand Rapids Police Department Chief(White) Eric Winstrom said.
(GRA:How many variations of the same meaningless speech are there?)
The man killed was DaShawn Guyton, 23, his mother told News 8 Monday. Police say he was known by the nickname Lil Ike.
(GRA:The tv noisecast said he was a "gentle giant".)
“This was just a good kid who turned into a good, young adult who had his whole life ahead of him,” Winstrom said.
(GRA:WRONG--Pat Buchanan!)
The shooting happened around 7 p.m. Saturday at Mackay-Jaycees Park on Kalamazoo Avenue off of 28th Street. Winstrom said Guyton suffered a single gunshot wound. Emergency responders tried to save him, but he died at the scene.
“It looks like it followed a fight. There was a fight on the basketball courts there,” Winstrom said. “For something to go from a fistfight in the group to someone pulling out a gun and firing shots, there’s no explanation that is ever going to make sense to this family.”
Winstrom said the fight involved a group of females. He said it was not immediately clear whether Guyton was involved, tried to intervene or simply happened to be nearby. Guyton was not armed, the chief said.
GRA:No update on the beating and home robbery of a White man by multiple black thugs on 8th and Parkhurst.
