I'd say it's all-over-the-country fraud. Like you put one of those thrashing tube men outside the Treasury and CMS advertising "Autism Reimbursements, Come Get Yours".
Ilhanistan just has a concentrated pocket of it. As I said before in reaction to a story about an explosion in autism cases in general, it's an increase in autism diagnoses, not an increase in autism cases. Just like there was an explosion in covid "cases". RFK has HHS investigating connections and soon they'll release results that sound just like RFK's long-held claims and questioning autism policy will be more taboo than ever.

And you've got Josh Hawley and Steve Bannon of all people warning against Medicaid cuts - which are really just cuts in the amount of the increases. The topic is apparently as untouchable for DOGE as is the Pentagon or FBI or Obamacare. Don't expect Madame Magafraud to hold DOGE Subcommittee hearings on it, she's in the shallow end of the pool posturing about PBS and Lia Thomas.
