CHICAGO(fox32) - Three people were shot, two fatally, on the city’s North Side early Saturday morning.
The shooting happened in the 6300 block of North Broadway in the Edgewater neighborhood, according to the Chicago Police Department.
What we know:
Officers responded to the scene around 1:20 a.m. and found multiple victims.
A 28-year-old man was shot multiple times and taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he died. The Cook County coroner identified him as Derrell A. Givens.
A 31-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital, where he died.
A 36-year-old man was shot in the back and taken to Evanston Hospital in fair condition.
The victims were unable to provide details of the incident, police said.
Area detectives are investigating.
What we don't know:
It’s unclear what led to the shooting.
No one is in custody.

Did I miss GRA coverage of Memphis - the three black officers acquitted in the Spare Tyre beating? Or is this story just slow to make the rounds? A very satisfying "L" on the Crumpster's scorecard. Nuthin' for Nichols .
Just hearing about it this morning, maybe because TGP has been too busy celebrating the 5-minute India-Pakistan truce or yesterday's short-lived statistical sham about federal borrowing being less than last year if you choose a very specific time window. And prematurely celebrating the 80% prescription discounts. And acting like they're MTG's publicity office.
A.T.,I have to tell you,I saw the story and couldn't come up with a narrative to post anything about it. Should I be thrilled because three probably crooked(99% chance)black cops got off? Not a chance. I'd rather see them locked up. A quick question,if you know the answer: Are they suing for millions? 99% chance I know the answer to that one too.
