Breaking news: Kent county prosecutor Chris Becker will not retry Officer Christopher Schurr!
GRA—The fraternal order of police commended prosecutor Chris Becker for his decision to end the criminal aspect of the Christopher Schurr arrest, stating “it takes into account what decisions police must make in a split second.”
Also, the jury vote was released—10-2 for acquittal—from the Schurr trial held in april.
Ven Johnson tried to paint a rosy picture for the upcoming civil trial but admitted, “no conviction in the criminal case is not our best setup for a favorable civil verdict.”
It’s over for Mr.Schurr—as far as not having to go to prison like Derek Chauvin was forced to do (where he was almost murdered by a nig with a knife) –congratulations are in order for him.
Now, the Derek Chauvin case should be remedied.

N.S. And now, Officer Schurr—for he will always be Officer Schurr, with a capital “O,” to me—must leave the state of michigan, and the job of peace officer, and maybe change his family’s name, as well.
(I accidentally typed, “Officer Chauvin,” in place of Officer Schurr!)

WHO'S RACIST? THE ONLY JURY HOLDOUT IN THE SCHURR TRIAL WAS THE SOLE bLACK
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A member of the jury that couldn’t reach a verdict in the Christopher Schurr murder trial said race never came up in the deliberations, that Schurr helped himself by taking the stand and that there was one main holdout that kept the former officer from being acquitted.
That holdout, he told Target 8 in an exchange of emails, was the jury foreperson — the only black jury member on the 12-person jury. Schurr’s defense team confirmed that.
The jury could not reach a verdict after four days and 21 hours of deliberations, leading to a mistrial. Prosecutor Chris Becker on Thursday announced he would not retry the case that has divided the community.
Becker has said the jury voted 10-2 in favor of acquittal. The defense attorney said it was 11-1 for acquittal.
In an exchange of emails with Target 8, a member of the jury wrote that the foreperson “claimed there was no way that they could see Schurr actually fearing for his life” as he and Patrick Lyoya struggled over the officer’s Taser.
Schurr, who is White, encountered Lyoya, who is black, during a traffic stop in April 2022.
The juror, one of three men on the jury, said it wouldn’t have made sense to retry Schurr, as “they are going to have a real tough time finding 12 people who would unanimously vote guilty in Kent County based on majority demographics alone.”
The 12-member jury was made up of nine women and three men. Ten were White, one hispanic and one, the foreperson, was black.
GRA:How in hell did the black get to be foreperson?

WILL LESBO AG DANA NESSELL RETRY CHRISTOPHER SCHURR?
GRA:The following paragraph was buried in an MLive article today.
(mlive.com)Schurr could still face a trial if the Michigan Attorney General’s Office picks up the case, Becker said. He has not had any conversation with Attorney General Dana Nessel about that possibility.
Three years ago, before Becker originally charged Schurr with second-degree murder, Nessel said she would take the case if offered.
GRA:She HATES White men and White cops. In Minnesota,Derek Chauvin faced federal and state charges and is serving time on both convictions. A month ago, there was talk of President Trump pardoning Chauvin on federal charges, but black AG,Keith Ellison quickly said,"A Trump pardon would have no effect on Chauvin's jail time--he's not going anywhere."
Would Nessell attempt such a move to send Schurr to prison?
Unfortunately,yes,there's a possibility she would.

Maybe Stephen Miller is plotting to time a Chauvin pardon to coincide with 90 degree temps hitting Somaliopolis. No heat wave in sight, alas. There's a single 85 lurking for June 1, that's all. Maybe the stars will align for a Ninety on Nineteenth. Of course with a $40 Trillion national debt on the doorstep (thanks, Republicans!) every twenty-dollar bill feels like a counterfeit and that means we are all George Floyd now. Quick, let's have a "national conversation" about race! With Gayle King as moderatrix!
