In Jan. 2024, in Glendale, a lunatic driver crashed head-on at high speed into a car in the opposite lane. Film historian David Skal and his "partner" were instantly killed; the reckless driver was unhurt! The video of the crash was online, it was truly horrific. It took a YEAR for the criminal to be brought to trial, and guess what- SLAP ON THE WRIST, no jail time!

For what this is worth- the evil David Colton of the Film Board eulogized Skal by praising not only his work, but also the fact that Skal was an open, "proud" gay. Well guess what- so was the lowlife that killed him, per the latter's Facebook page. Maybe that's why he walked free.

I did read a couple of his books, but my memory of them isn't too clear. Probably just as well, considering...

Still, a lousy way to die. Maybe if g_ays were repressed by society as they used to be (and SHOULD be), Hell, maybe if LAWS were enforced as they used to be, this wouldn't have happened. Certainly, his murderer wouldn't be walking free.

Where's the comment-? did they remove it completely?
To clarify: I tried to post a lengthy comment, but was repeatedly told "something went wrong." Tried several times with same result. Finally I re-sent it with some "offensive" terms redacted, and got the usual "Will be posted when approved," etc. Now my followup message is here, but not the actual post. What is going on?
