blackie's are running out of restaurants to ransack in the middle of the night. Back in the day(1980s),after working the all nighter,me and a buddy would hit Denny's on occasion. The Grand Slam special was 2 pancakes,two sausage,two bacon and two eggs for like about $4.00.
Go home and sleep,get up,run a few miles,play racquetball and never gained a pound. I'd mix it up with other all night joints like Village Inn or Red Lion. Pretty fun stuff.
Never saw a nig back then.

Remembering back to Rush's parody "Denny's: Reginald Denny's" in the days after Rodney King, where the riots 'n' reparations crowd decided they couldn't let'-all-get-along with an innocent truck driver who was merely driving while white and got attacked worse than if he had been driving in Winnie Mandelaland.
Now they'll have a Grand Slam Breakfast desert to go along with the recently announced Slurpee Desert. There's always Waffle House of course. And Golden Corral sort-of but those greedy capitalist unequalists make you pay on the way in the door for riots 'n' refreshments.
