(ZH) An Indianapolis man killed three adults and a child following an argument over dividing a stimulus check, according to a probable cause affidavit, viewed by CNN.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a woman shot on Saturday night. She told officers there were more victims. At another residence, officers found three adults and a child shot to death (7-year-old Eve Moore, 23-year-old Daquan Moore, 35-year-old Anthony Johnson, and 44-year-old Tomeeka Brown).
Detectives discovered that Malik Halfacre, 25, who wounded the initial victim, Jeanettrius Moore (his baby mother), was also responsible for the quadruple murder. He fled the scene with his 6-month-old daughter, the affidavit stated.
The child was found safely at a relative’s home. Halfacre was arrested Sunday evening inside the attic of another house down the street, Officer Genae Cook, a spokeswoman for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, said.
According to the affidavit, Halfacre told detectives he began arguing with Jeanettrius Moore about his stimulus check cut.
“There was an argument there that escalated to the point where he pulled out his weapon and started shooting everyone there in the home,” Deputy Chief Craig McCartt said.
“He wanted some of Jeanettrius’ tax money, stimulus money," Wendy Johnson, Jeanettrius' cousin, told local news WXIN.
While there was mention in the affidavit of why Halfacre desperately wanted the government money that forced [?!] him to kill four people, a Deutsche Bank poll shows many respondents are taking the free money to buy Bitcoin and stocks.

I sent this previously but I think it's worth adding here. My angle on the story was what one of the victims said that illustrates the sneaky way blacks try to mitigate their own violence.

What really jumped out at me was one section from the article:
"He shot Daquan first," she added. "He shot Anthony. He turned around, and he shot my Auntie Tomeeka. My Auntie Tomeeka said, 'Malik!' and he shot her again. He came back and shot Daquan for the second time and somewhere between little Baby Eve got hit somewhere and she was screaming, she was screaming."
Gotta love the way even the victims try to mitigate the man's crime...He didn't "deliberately" shoot the 7 yr. old girl, it just kinda happened along in the general spray of bullets. Guess killin' a 7 yr. old ain't so bad then.
