An Interesting Set of Crimes were Committed in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, Last Friday, Culminating in the Murder of a Chinese Man, but You’d Never Know It, from the Fake News Reporting

A black career criminal named William Smith, 45, with a history of murder has confessed to murdering again, this time killing a Chinese father of two, Yong Zheng, 46.

Last Friday Smith and two or more accomplices armed with a screwdriver and “blades” robbed an illegal Chinese gambling den in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. The felons got away with cash and cellphones. However, their misdemeanant, Chinese victims gave chase, and fought the robbers on the street.

Thinking he was witnessing a hate crime in progress, Yong Zheng ran across the street to his fellow Chinese’s aid, where he was stabbed four times by Smith, using the screwdriver.

Yong Zheng was DOA at NYU Brooklyn.

How do I know that William Smith is black? The media blurred his face, and refused to racially identify him. Note too that he had murdered at least once before, in 1996, and received affirmative action sentencing: convicted only of “man,” and paroled after ten years. Although he has been officially arrested 13 times, he has been neither arrested not imprisoned since 2010.

That is extremely fishy for a felon like Smith. Was his body cryogenically frozen for over ten years? A mope like this is a crime machine, from the time he gets up to the time he goes back to sleep. Either he got a ton of freebies, changed his identity for a decade, state officials did not give honest information, or he was out of state.

According to the scrappy koala rule, the refusal of the media to racially ID violent perps is itself a form of identification. Should I prove errant, blame the media for refusing to give straight information.

The widow Zheng has not been properly “Americanized”:

“Zheng’s wife Jin Zhao, 39, was in tears as she said she wanted all the attackers to get arrested and executed. ‘Every time I look at my son, I think about the fact that he has no father,’ she was quoted as saying.” [In which language?]

Ryan General buried that passage at the end, after he’d discouraged most readers from continuing. He wrote three endless paragraphs; check out his lede paragraph:

“A former convict has been arrested and charged in connection to the fatal stabbing of the Good Samaritan who tried to intervene in a fight involving thieves and Asian victims in Brooklyn. Identified as William Smith, 45, the ex-con is now facing murder charges for the death of Yong Zheng, 46, who died after he was stabbed with a screwdriver during the fight in Sunset Park on Friday night, reports NY Daily News. Smith, who has previously served time for killing a person 25 years ago, got involved in an altercation after robbing an Asian-owned establishment, taking cash and phones from the victims. As NextShark previously reported, Zheng and other pedestrians came across two groups of men fighting each other near Seventh Ave. and 57th St. at around 9:30 p.m. In a bid to deescalate the situation, Zheng and others rushed to intervene in the fight that had already taken a portion of the sidewalk. Smith and at least two accomplices had reportedly robbed a gambling den on 58th St. and their victims chased them outside. Smith had brandished a screwdriver while his accomplices attacked the victims with blades. Three other men were also stabbed during the violent confrontation, but they are now in stable condition. Zheng, who was stabbed four times, was rushed to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.”

That should have been nine paragraphs.

“In a bid to deescalate the situation, Zheng and others rushed to intervene in the fight that had already taken a portion of the sidewalk.”

Not only is the foregoing sentence by General ungrammatical, it’s sloganeering garbage. The only way you “de-escalate” a violent situation is with violence. You draw a gun, and order the perps to drop their weapons, kiss the ground, and one of you handcuffs them, while a partner holds a gun on them.

The Daily News team of Rocco Parascandola and Brittany Kriegstein did a solid job with the story, as far as I can tell. Parascandola is a legendary crime reporter in New York, but he has collaborated on some dubious stories of late, including outright hoaxes terrorizing White women.

However, I first read about this set of crimes in a “thing” by a Ryan General, of a blog called Next Shark. General buried his lede, and sought to discourage readers from ever finding out what had happened. General’s “thing” was reprinted by Yahoo Fake News, whereby neither site permitted comments.

As for William Smith, he should have gotten justice for his first murder. Once he meets with his Legal Aid lawyer, he'll disvow his confession, insisting the cops coerced him into giving it (remember the confessed Central Park rapists?), pleading not-guilty, and getting a plea bargain, say, to assault. In a few years, he'll be paroled and out, murdering again.
