If there ever was an example of a candidate who has been "programmed" to speak a certain way--to avoid controversy,it's Pete Buttigieg.
He was interviewed by Margaret Brennan for over 10 minutes today and with no discernable humor,eyes glazed over and a robotic recital of his political advisor's script,Buttigieg showed himself the complete opposite of Donald Trump.Buttigieg offered zero ad libs,no emotion,no argument against what Brennan asked him--which included,"Why don't black and Mex voters like you?"
"Beep,I haven't been around as long as other candidates who(black) voters know better."
The truth is,his city(South Bend)is 62% white and 26% black--and the blacks hate him.There have been shouting matches between Buttigieg and blacks.That has made its way around the country via black conversation and the blackies have united against him.
"If the brothas in The Bend hate him,the rest of us do too."
Normally,that--by itself-- would make him a good candidate for me,but of course,there are other qualities that eliminate him from consideration.
With his monotone delivery this morning,he may get the dead vote.

Blacks hate gays, the prejudice and bigotry they display toward is quite overt but, as usual, the media pretends it's white men who are the homophobes. We've had gay bashings in our city and about 1/2 of them are perpetrated by blacks or hispanics, but the media always keeps that fact hidden. Even if he had personality, most black Americans would never embrace Buttgieg, the bias toward his homosexuality is too strong. One of his pearls of wisdom is the idea of compensating separated families financially with our tax money. Oh that's really rich, I can hear alien invaders palms rubbing together right now thinking about getting some cash for illegally crossing a border with some kids, some of whom might not even be theirs, or really even be actual children. Instead of the ghetto lottery, they get the barrio lottery.
Just read through his immigration plans, the man is a lunatic.
