The crackdown on the MS-13 street gang has resulted in a sharp drop in gang-related killings on Long Island, from more than two dozen in 2016-2017 to two last year. But law enforcement officials caution that the violent group is trying to maintain its grip here and continues morphing to avoid police detection.

They make it sound good that MS-13 killings are "down". There shouldn't even be one. If the illegals were gotten rid of there might not be.
