Boston Globe: Two Raceless, Faceless, Bodyless Perps Wearing No Identifiable Clothing and Driving an Unidentifiable Vehicle Invade University of Massachusetts Amherst Campus with Handgun, then Flee, Leaving Freshman in Dorm with Mysterious Head Wounds, After Mysterious “Popping Sounds” Heard on Campus

From a Masslive.com story. The only sort of crime-related photograph of a black on a college campus, nowadays: At the swearing-in ceremony seven days ago of new UMASS campus police chief Tyrone Parham, Chief Parham’s wife, Precious, pins on his new badge. Why did the job on a predominantly white campus go to a black man? “Diversity” (racial spoils). Why do such jobs on black campuses go to blacks? “Diversity” (racial spoils).

Note that at least Boston Globe operative Laura Krantz provided the sex of the two attackers. In yesterday’s non-report, AP operative Gordon Bassham refused to so much as give the attackers’ sex! Bassham referred to them as “‘hostile armed’ people.”

However, Laura Krantz refused to even identify the crimes the perps committed, beyond one brandishing a firearm. “Assault” tells us very little. Just pulling an illegal gun on someone counts as felony assault. But the perps wounded the vic, yet Krantz refused to so much as describe the acts, whereby the perps did this. The article says that the vic “had a head laceration.” That could have been caused by a beatdown with fists by one or both attackers, by their stomping him, or by the armed attacker pistol-whipping him. That’s a huge difference in severity. While it’s possible to slug someone and have him fall, hit his head, and die, it’s much easier to murder someone by stomping or pistol-whipping him.

We also do not know if the “hostile armed” person was believed by police to have fired shots, as suggested by student James Villalobos, who said “he heard popping sounds coming from a different part of campus…”

These MSM alleged reporters all claim to be blind to race, ethnicity, and sex, and yet they are always promoting illegal, unconstitutional, and morally obscene privileges for people, based on the latter’s race, ethnicity, and sex. They’re liars, pure and simple.

In the immortal words of Chicago Tribune reader “scrappy koala,” in response to racist Trib columnist Steve Chapman, we know that the attackers were black:

I've said it before and I'll say it again that you are right. Race doesn not matter and you dont need to tell us what race it is because we already know. Especially when you dont tell us. If this was White on Black crime there is no doubts on anyones mind that all of a sudden race would matter and you would report it but if its black criminals you wont say race which actually tells us the race. When ever a news site wont say the race I instantly know which race. This works pretty much 100% of the time without fail.

Why bother publishing a “story,” if you’re not going to provide any information?

One can only speculate that the attackers were drug dealers collecting a debt, or waging a turf war, or that the attack was over a girl, and that the vic was probably also black. But we shouldn’t have to speculate. We're back in Plato's cave, interpreting shadows and muffled sounds.

Meanwhile, the Globe’s thread Nazis permitted one believer in the RKBA was to succinctly comment, but he was verbosely contradicted by what is known as a “concern troll.”

If people had guns then shootings like San Bernardino would be few.

Yeah, right. As someone who believes in the right to responsibly own firearms, I'm calling BS on your observation. Absent the kind of training you get as a police officer, or in the military, your garden variety citizen gun owner is largely clueless about how to use a weapon, has no idea how hard it is to hit a person from 30 feet or even ten feet away when you're shaking like a leaf, and a 164th of an inch flinch means you miss, and maybe hit some innocent bystander. More guns per capita means more gun deaths, it's that simple. You can look it up.

“Slack” may believe in many things, but “the right to responsibly own firearms” isn’t one of them. His ridiculous caricature of “your garden variety citizen gun owner” consisted of routine, gun-grabber lies, and thoroughly contradicted his earlier statement.

By the way, shootings like San Bernardino would be few if people had guns, because, unlike in the hysterical, gun-grabber straw man argument, in which legal gun owners draw and shoot massive numbers of innocent bystanders, while missing the perps, Moslems and other terrorists avoid places where they might encounter armed resistance. They make a rational calculation to attack gun-free zones.

Two men sought after scare at UMass Amherst campus

The University of Massachusetts Amherst campus went into a “shelter in place” for about two hours on Thursday, alarming staff and students, after two men armed with a handgun assaulted a student in a dormitory, officials said.

“It appears this was not a random act,” said UMass Police Chief Tyrone Parham at a press briefing Thursday night. “This particular assault victim had clearly been specifically targeted.”

The victim had a head laceration and was taken to Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton with minor injuries, Parham said. No other injuries were reported.

The scare began at 5:17 p.m. when police received a report of a person with a handgun in the Pierpont Hall dormitory, according to school officials.

As text alerts warned students to shelter in place, UMass police secured the perimeter of the dorm, said school spokesman Daniel Fitzgibbons. Pierpont Hall is a coeducational residence for first-year students in the Southwest section of campus.

Later, police said the handgun was shown but not fired.

After talking to witnesses, police determined the suspects had fled in a vehicle, and the order to shelter in place was lifted at 7:13 p.m., Parham said.

No arrests had been made as of late Thursday night.

“We have good confidence right now that they are not UMass students,” Parham said.

The school added in a statement that“UMass [sic] police report the campus is safe, noting that two suspects involved in an armed assault on a student fled campus, and police are vigorously pursuing leads.”

During the tense incident, students took to Twitter to share what they knew.

Student James Villalobos said he went to Pierpont Hall to find out what was going on and saw two fire trucks, an ambulance, and a few police cars, but the dorm was calm. Police could be seen coming in and out of the building, he said.

While he was at the dormitory, Villalobos said, he heard popping sounds coming from a different part of campus, so he went back to his dorm to stay safe. “We got out of there because we had no idea what those [noises] were,” he said.

Liberal whimps. I'm sure it is a legally purchased gun carried by a licensed, responsible owner. LONG LIVE THE 2nd!

Carried by a licensed, responsible owner?

I offer $100 bet against you.

It's against State Law to carry a weapon on the UMass campus.

Licensed responsible owners do not bring firearms into restricted areas where they are explicitly forbidden. Nice try whacko.

Hey Pal, Scalia is dead. Any idea of how that will change the 2nd Amendment? The 2nd Amendment is how the supreme court chooses to interpret it.

Oxymoron

Omj6602/18/16 06:45 PM

At Liberty University they'd have an alert if they found a student NOT carrying a gun!

SangZe02/18/16 07:19 PM

Another Obama trick.

user_446699502/18/16 07:21 PM

No good reason for a gun on that campus. None.

Thank your lucky stars the Town of Amherst Police were not involved.

They would have issued $300 fines for noise violations to every resident in the dormitory.

They're a bunch of blood suckers. Just like Georgia speed traps.

I'm thankful our kids live in a state where there's an alert when a gun is spotted in a dorm.

The gun yahoos are welcome to locate elsewhere. If there are any still here, I'll help them pack!

Slack02/18/16 09:29 PM

Boy this story just rolls off into the ether. Did they find someone. Did they not find someone? Are they still looking for someone?

Yes, it's simple, you have to pay for your drugs.

If more people knew this half the Globe would disappear.

Justthefaxplease02/19/16 06:50 AM

Somebody clearly needs to explain to the student who "went to Pierpoint Hall to find out what was going on" what Shelter In Place means. What a disconnect from reality!

patcatpatcat02/19/16 07:08 AM

Maybe we can help....black or white? Short or tall? Skinny or fat? Wearing sweats, shorts, tux ??? Type of vehicle?

the-educator02/19/16 07:10 AM

Here how this type of thing works.

Some kid starts dealing drugs. They don't understand the seriousness of the business. They don't pay their supplier as agreed upon. The supplier comes to the dorm. Pistol whips the kid a couple times to make his point. Kid goes to ATM and pulls out all the money he can to pay supplier.
