This is a long-time hobby horse of Steve Sailer;s. The "Elite" supposedly demands white middle class people surrender their guns while hoping it will also take guns from the black underclass, who they are really afraid of.

I don't really buy this either.

Most colored youth can't buy a gun legally anyhow. They already have an arrest record. But they get the guns just the same, illegally.
