Why guns are not allowed on military bases (other than those of the MPs) is beyond me.
I took a gun safety class when I was a pre-teen. The class was taught by a military instructor on the grounds of Andrews Air Force Base in Southern Maryland. I took the class along with Gary Binge. Gary was a friend from the neighborhood. His father was a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force, and stationed at Andrews. Andrews is home to Air Force One.
So, why has there been unilateral disarmament on military bases?
