Thanks to reader-researcher RC for this story.

That’s some prime, diverse real estate. Dallas doesn’t get nearly enough credit as a regional capital of diverse culture, which is to say, low-IQ, educational failure, illegitimacy and violent crime.

An 18-year-old man died early Saturday morning after being shot multiple times in the torso in South Dallas, police said.

Witnesses brought Samuel Salinas of Dallas to Baylor University Medical Center about 2:20 a.m. He died as a result of his injuries.

Police said the shooting occurred in the parking lot of Smith’s Drive Inn, in the 5300 block of South Second Avenue near Hatcher Street and Scyene Road.
Witnesses told police they saw a gray vehicle with four people inside drive up and fire at Salinas.

No arrests have been made.

In December, 41-year-old Jose Orta-Sanchez was fatally shot outside the bar. Three people were arrested in connection with the slaying and remain in jail.
