I've only read a few of Steyn's show biz stories, like the one where Sinatra referred to Brando as "Mumbles" while they were shooting Guys and Dolls and Brando was wasting people's time, endlessly redoing scenes, but it was enough to recognize that on that beat, he's in a league all by himself.
Happened to spot this piece online. Shocker people would be outraged by Bloomberg making these kind of comments. Don't bother us with fact, figures and truth. Jerry
I am a dissident journalist, whose work has been published in dozens of daily newspapers, magazines, and journals in English, German, and Swedish, under my own name and many pseudonyms. While living in internal exile in New York, where I am whitelisted, I maintain NSU/The Wyatt Earp Journalism Bureau and some eight other blogs (some are distinctive but occasional venues, while others are mirrors), and also write for stout-hearted men such as Peter Brimelow and Jared Taylor. Please hit the “Donate” button on your way out. Thanks, in advance.

Isn't that an amazing story? Mark Steyn always digs these up, often based on his interviews with these great songwriters.
