I tried to retweet the following item by Turley, only to get an error message, that the tweet had “been deleted.”

...We are at a critical point in higher education where we must either fight to preserve free speech or yield to a mob-led orthodoxy on our campuses.
N.S.: Well, I undid and re-did the re-tweet, and it went through.
What did that mean? Who knows?
As for what Turley wrote, people like yours truly have been writing the same thing since at least 1989, and already during the 1960s, marxist thugs were violently terrorizing those whom they had put on their enemies list, e.g., harvard’s Richard Herrnstein and Edward O. Wilson, with no push-back from college presidents. (harvard’s president at the time was Nathan Marsh Pusey.)
