TV stations broke into regular programming (Dr.Oz—no loss) to tell the public about this possible flash mob occurrence. To me, it’s obvious, the city is afraid of this taking place and are trying to bluff the rioters into not showing up, by publicizing the fact that they're aware of it.
Will keep NSU updated.

ReplyDeleteFLASH MOB MOVED 50 MILES DOWN TO KALAMAZOO LAST NIGHT--WHACK-A-MOLE ANYONE?
ReplyDeleteThe GRPD seemed to surprise the flash mob--through interception of social media communication--and as they attempted to form groups around VanAndel Arena--a gigantic building for concerts etc, lots of glass to break there--they gave up that plan and headed downtown.National Guard met the smallish crowd there--and they were dispersed.
It appears the flash mob adjusted their plans and drove to Kalamazoo and caused havoc at that location last night,so much so,that a curfew has been imposed for tonight in Kazoo, while Grand Rapids removed their curfew.Whack-a-mole anyone?
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A curfew will be in effect in Kalamazoo tonight and the Michigan National Guard has been called to assist.
Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Karianne Thomas said the curfew is 7 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday after receiving information that there are agitators planning to incite violence during protests planned for Tuesday.
Thomas said six people were arrested on eight charges after Tuesday’s vandalism. One officer was injured, and two police cruisers were damaged. Vandals damaged or looted more than 25 businesses, including Lana’s Boutique.
Authorities also responded to three suspicious fires overnight, including a fire at a vacant building in the city’s northside neighborhood.
