It's a guarantee that none of these 'diverse' police chiefs - and there must be dozens and dozens - could pass the basic NY State Regents English Exam - a requirement (in years past, anyway) to graduate from any high school in New York State. If that was still the 'bar' for graduation, thousands would be left back - maybe for years - but of course they must be permitted to 'graduate'. For those who still pass all their Regents exams, they graduate with 'Regents Honors' - or a 'Regents Diploma' - a designation that didn't exist earlier, because every diploma was required to be a 'Regents Diploma'. Many of these 'Police Commissioners' couldn't write a coherent sentence if their job depended on it - which of course, it DOESN'T.
