Breaking News: Black D.C. Bus Hijacker Graduates to Murder, as One of His Vics is Pronounced Dead

Main changes: The killer has been changed from “three juveniles” to one man; the status of the man he hit has been updated to “pronounced dead at the hospital”; a description of the incident of the murder has been added; we now know that passengers had been on the bus; there is now a more detailed yet unconfirmed description of the weapon the killer used in his attack on the bus driver; and the suspect’s demeanor is described during his arrest.

• The perp committed assault with a deadly weapon against the driver;
• Aggravated carjacking, a federal offense that can get one the death penalty;
• Several counts of reckless driving (the crashes);
• An undetermined number of counts of vehicular assault (in case he wounded anyone in the crashes); and
• One count of murder, in the course of a carjacking, a death penalty-eligible, federal offense.

The perp should get the death penalty, but he won’t, i.e., there will be no justice for his victim. Indeed, D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier has already laid the groundwork for playing the crazy card: “The suspect was distraught and violent when he was taken into custody, according to D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier.” Hence, he’ll either get sentenced to a minimal sentence, considering all the mayhem he wreaked, or get a few years in a psycho ward. In any event, the nameless (why is that?), faceless, raceless black man will be back out in no time, to wreak yet more havoc.
 

Man Hijacks DC Metrobus; Pedestrian Fatally Struck, Police Say
The bus then struck a person, who is now in critical condition

Three juveniles stabbed a Metrobus driver with a screwdriver, hijacked the bus and struck a person who is now in critical condition, D.C. police said. (Published 59 minutes ago)

A man attacked a Metrobus driver with a weapon and hijacked his bus Tuesday morning, D.C. police said. The bus then drove into a gas station parking lot and struck a pedestrian, who later died.

Police say the suspect got on the bus in the 3800 block of Jay Street in Northeast D.C. at about 10:30 a.m. When the bus arrived at its next stop, the suspect got up and attacked the driver with a weapon, which some described as a tool such as needle-nosed pliers or a screwdriver.

The driver managed to get off the bus, but suffered a back injury in the process. He is expected to recover.

D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier said the passengers on the bus also ran off the bus when they saw the attack happening.

The suspect then drove the bus a short distance, causing several crashes along the way. Lanier said the hijacker then drove the bus into the parking lot of a gas station at the corner of Minnesota and Nannie Helens Burroughs avenues, where the bus went over the curb and struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, who police say was a man, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The suspect was distraught and violent when he was taken into custody, according to D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier.

"It's a bizarre incident," Lanier said. "The whole incident occurred in less than three minutes."

Lanier would not identify the weapon that was used, but said that police have it in their possession.

Police initially indicated that juveniles were involved in the hijacking, but later stated it was just one man.

“Jail, jail, jail - is that your solution? These kids take pride in going to jail because it has no meaning anymore. And you don't get solutions to issues if you generalize people by race. Rather than people coming together to solve these issues, everyone gets racially defensive and nothing is done. The obsession some of you have about race is primarilly the reason these criminals find comfort in what they do. No one blames john doe, they blame john doe's race.”

You’re obviously against any punishment for racist, black terrorists. Why is it that black supremacists like you always demand “solutions,” at the same time that you rule all solutions out of bounds, just as you claim not to be race-obsessed? You think you’re fooling whites, but you’re not fooling anyone.
