Lemaricus Davidson to Use Failed Defense Again (Knoxville Horror)

By David in TN

Lemaricus Davidson, "alleged" ringleader of the Knoxville Horror torture-murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, is again using the defense that failed in his first trial, in order to obtain a retrial.

Davidson and his attorneys are again claiming he was a drug dealer to the victims, who visited his house voluntarily. As before, he claims his DNA was on Channon Christian because of a "consensual relationship."

The new judge, Walter Kurtz, supposedly cannot act as 13th juror without seeing the testimony. This is the argument for a new trial in Davidson's case. A hearing for new trial motions for Davidson and the other two remaining defendants, Letalvis Cobbins (Davidson’s half-brother) and George Thomas, are scheduled for Thursday, December 13.

  1. I emailed Jamie Satterfield of the Knoxville News Sentinel and asked her if she had been contacted by anyone from the MSM with the hearing coming up on December 13. She answered: "No."

I ask her this question every 2-3 months and her reply is always the same.

  2. Dear David,

Thanks for the update and the information in your comment.

You know how it is: Newest escapades of Lindsey Lohan, Madonna, or any of countless reality TV "celebrities"--news. The torture, gang-rape, and murder of a couple of all-American white kids by racist black monsters--not newsworthy.

  3. Thanks David in TN and Nicholas Stix for the coverage afforded this travesty of justice in Knoxville.
I'm especially happy to see Nicholas back online and hope your recovery from Sandy has gone well!
