Preliminary Hearing in Racist Tulsa Murders of Carissa Horton and Ethan Nichols

On Tuesday, the preliminary hearing for the two suspects, Darren Price and Jarard Davis, in the murders of Carissa Horton and Ethan Nicholas was held.

This story calls the brutal double murder "a senseless and unexplainable tragedy." The crime took place in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 19, 2011.

 

Ethan Nichols' sister testified about receiving text messages from her brother's cell phone telling her not to call the police. Police say one of the killers was sending her those messages.

 

A woman police say is the girlfriend of one of the suspects, Deshantel Watson, took the stand and contradicted everything she had previously said.

 

The judge ruled the suspects must stand trial.
