How did you spend White slavery day?

By Nicholas Stix

I used to enthusiastically celebrate what in America was Independence Day. But America is no more, having been replaced by "America."

I did go on the former boardwalk (after hurricane Sandy, it was replaced by cement), and watch the fireworks for an hour. They were more subdued than in the past, although there were three sites about 200 feet in front of where I was standing, over the course of a block, where fireworks were being shot off. (I couldn't see how.) They didn't make it too far into the sky, but there were few duds.

blacks now have four national holidays--Michael King Jr. Day, black history month, juneteenth and independnce day. We have nothing, yet we get to pay for everything.

The day came and went.Birthday #248 was much different than the bicentennial year was--I'll just leave it at that.
