"'The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure,' Martin's lawyers said."

ReplyDeleteIf the allegations are true, what did Martin do that was actually illegal? According to news reports, his cousin was 21 and the relationship lasted 7 months and ended recently. He wasn't underage, unless the age of consent om Puerto Rico is 21. If incest itself is illegal then the cousin is equally guilty since he was an adult. Not sure how much I care, getting nauseous just thinking about it this much.

ReplyDeleteYes, there are mainstream journalists with a little actual backbone, except they're in the UK, not the US: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLQQzToJVBM
Very interesting video with a reporter going directly to a hotel that threw out residents to house immigrants and asking them blunt straightforward questions. When was the last time you saw something like this on a US news station? Like never? As much as I critique those Brits, their media does at times show a bit of mettle.
Change his hit song from "Livin' La Vida Loca" to "Livin' La Quid Pro Quo-ca".

From what I've read, the "nephew" was not biologically related to Ricki Martin since he was the son of Martin's step-sister. If this is true, then calling the relationship "incest" was a total misnomer.
