There are two ways, in which you know that a talk will be worthless: The speaker opens: 1. By favorably citing James Baldwin, and 2. By speaking of America as a "democracy." James Baldwin was a black supremacist, segregationist, and a liar, and America was never a democracy.
This is part of a long talk Glaude gave, which only paid subscribers are permitted to hear. It is a version of a book he published a few years ago. Presumably, like James Baldwin, he seeks to annihilate White America.

“in this powerful talk, Eddie S. Glaude Jr. takes a hard look at America’s ongoing racial reckoning, exposing the deep contradictions at the heart of the nation. from the legacies of slavery and Jim Crow to modern racial injustice, Glaude connects past and present, calling out the 'value gap' that defines American democracy.
