  1. "WE DON'T KNOW WHO THE SHOOTER IS,BUT THERE IS NO THREAT TO THE PUBLIC,"SAYS PERRY,FLORIDA PO-LICE,AFTER 2 SHOT DEAD OUT OF FOUR OVERNIGHT

    GRA:Perry is 40% black.

PERRY, Fla. (WCTV) - Perry Police are investigating after a shooting occurred around midnight at the Perrytown Apartments, leaving two people dead and two others injured, according to Perry Police Chief Jamie Cruse.

A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl died in the shooting, Police Chief Cruse confirmed to WCTV in a phone call Friday afternoon.

The shooting also left a 16-year-old girl and a man injured, according to the police chief. The two are receiving medical care, police said. However, the extent of their injuries is unknown as of Friday afternoon.

While Taylor County School District Superintendent Reggie Wentworth could not confirm if anyone involved in the shooting were students, he told WCTV Friday afternoon that the school district has “counselors on campus here at the high school and at our middle school because they, a lot of kids know these kids personally and it’s a big deal for us and we want to make sure that we hear what they have to say and we help them work through this situation.”

Chief Cruse stated that they are still working to learn who fired the shots but he emphasized there is no threat to the public.

“There is no threat. There is no one running around looking to harm any other people. This situation is under control at this point. We are just processing, handling evidence now, to make sure there is a thorough investigation,” he told WCTV.

GRA:There's ALWAYS a threat to the public--with blacks in our cities--especially at night. Sedrick Bolton III(black) took the photo of the police scene--probably on an obama phone--shot in a neighborhood full of blacks.
