All I remember is he sounded like Wolfman Jack. Probably an appropriate nickname for blackie Charley too. All those young White interns.

BOBBY SHERMAN,TALENTED POP SINGER FROM THE 60S,REMOVED FROM EARTH'S TURNTABLE AT 81
ReplyDeleteGRA:I started listening to the radio about 1968 to 1969--as eclectic a period of time for music, that we ever had.
Beatles,Stones,Doors,Neil Diamond,Crosby Stills,Nash and Young,Supremes,Temptations,Sinatra,Johnny Cash,Dylan and so many one hit wonders that the radio was packed with memorable music 24/7.
Mixed in with these groups and individuals was Bobby Sherman,a boyish looking, teen heart throb, who contributed mightily to the pop charts of that era.
My personal favorite was,"Hey,Little Woman,"but,"La,La,La," and "Easy Come,Easy Go" was fine, melodic record making too.
Back then,a lot of the music was fun,uplifting,non-violent and easy to sing-a-long with.
A better time.
(Hint:Get rid of rap).
