"Val Kilmer’s list of a-list lovers was as impressive as his film credits – but here's why he was single when he died"
"'he wasn’t a normal guy. his charm, on the screen and off, was amazing. and the devotion to his craft was 200 percent.'”

Why was he w/o a broad the last 20 years?
ReplyDeleteI asked Don Rickles.
"Because when you drop your pants to fire a rocket--and it doesn't--word gets around."
Then he got sick.
"That,in itself,is like spraying a can of "Chicks Begone" into the air."
Correct,Don.

Saw TOP GUN when it came out, and remember nothing of him or anything else about the movie. From some of the photos posted of him, I'd say he looked more homely than handsome; maybe his "charm" was the same as that of one of the people he portrayed- John Holmes. (And like JH, maybe he swung both ways.)
ReplyDeleteI think every male should receive at birth what they used to call a "sampler" to hang on the wall- saying LIFE IS NOT FAIR.

I actually laughed when I saw the pic of Kilmer on this page- he looks like Dracula, and more Al Lewis than Lugosi! Yeah, a real ladies' man.

Google updated their pic of him a little too much. Yes,Al Lewis is about right. Interesting, not only women, but media dropped him like a hot rock, the last decade or so--connection? Older broads like Cher STILL get shown going out with j-boo "boyfriends".
