jerry pdx What's funny is that most of those in favor of our involvement are woke liberal democrats types. Generally, my experience is that conservative people are more likely to question our involvement in Ukraine. I don't have any stats on that, just going by what people are telling me and what I see in online debates. I've gotten into it with a fair number of online wokesters on the subject and they almost invariably parrot the party line saying things like Russia has to respect the Ukraine's sovereignty or Putin is a madman who is attacking the Ukraine for no reason blah blah Basically, they sound like conservatives did back in the 60's and 70's who justified our involvement in the Vietnam war. Kind of ironic but they don't see it.

Exactly. Somehow we're in bizarro world these days. Basically,the problem is,Russia is seen as White--and must be defeated.
