Darwin award-winner Jonathan Flores, 32, got himself electrocuted while committing a crime; but his friends and "family," who knew exactly where to go to find his corpse are mad at... the cops, whom they apparently want to sue (revised)

"Jonathan Flores, 32, appeared to have been electrocuted, according to his friend Christian Briones, who discovered his body sticking out of a rooftop a/c unit at a business park of the west Sam Houston parkway near west road.

    1. Unfortunately, not a Darwin winner since the news clip mentions that he was a father of two. His girlfriend told police that he might have been going to that particular area, which suggests that the deceased was planning something nefarious. (Stealing one of the AC units on the roof? It would be awfully heavy to bring down.) How he managed to electrocute himself has not yet been explained. Stay tuned.

    2. I'm confident both of his keeds will be in U.S. crime headlines some day(if they report them in the future)and will prove they are true mex criminals--like their dad. They--and the "gf" should all be deported.

  2. Aesop wrote about this, didn't he? The Fox and the Copper Market, or maybe it was The Fox and the Cheese or something like that.

With funeral music by Carole King:
On the roof it's peaceful as can be.
And there the world below can't bother me

Family is upset because cops didn't look in the area they suggested he might be missing. It sounds like it was still a pretty big area to look in and since the vast majority of missing persons turn up alive it's understandable cops didn't want to waste the time searching. Was he going to be any less dead if they found him sooner? Nope, they're just hoping to win the barrio lottery.
