    They've got his previous record,his,age,what color underwear he has on--everything but his name(and from that we could have deduced his race).

    Isn't that strange they omit his name?One day,they'll decide never to release it.Right now,the cops and media decide to cover it up for a period of time and then covertly release the perp's moniker(and by connection,the race).
