It's all the Germans, the Poles and the Czechs in Central and South Texas who gave us the world of roasted meats.

That, and cold beer.

Lots of ice cold refreshing Shiner Bock.

By the way, Franklin BBQ has an hours long wait to be served.  Folks from all over the world make pilgrimages to Austin for Franklin BBQ.

Ditto Snow's BBQ in Lexington, Texas is renowned, too.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow%27s_BBQ

The line forms in the pre-dawn hour for Snow's.

Tomanetz lives in Giddings, Texas, and works during the week at Giddings High School as a janitor as Snow's BBQ is open only on Saturday.

  1. Don't blacks go there and get in fights in line--similar to waffle joints?THAT'S what I'm wondering about.Or doesn't Snow's take EBT cards--hence,no blacks.
