(GRA) I never got how Trump was found liable in this case.
“I don’t know who this is,” sounds like a plausible defense.
The plaintiff, E. Jean Carroll, said she was raped, but the jury didn’t find for that action, so how does a jury disbelieve rape, but make up their own scenario about what occurred between Trump and Carroll—some thirty years later?
If Carroll was not believed about rape, how could she be believed about ANYTHING?
Trump will appeal and lesta holt remarked that Carroll would never see the money, but then, that wasn’t what this was all about—was it?
The goal was smearing Trump in the minds of a few thousand more women, in an election year—with more trials to come.

Voir dire: ‘Do you (jury candidate) hate the defendant, Donald J. Trump?’
Candidate: ‘I most certainly do.’
‘The plaintiff has no opposition to this candidate.’
Years ago I got a series of phone calls from a woman looking for her father. She kept asking if I had ever been in a certain city. Yes I once visited that city for several hours to see an I-max movie. No, I am certain I did not impregnate any women while watching the movie. Fortunately I am not a famous or infamous person otherwise I could be found guilty like Trump when I don't even know the woman in question. Trump is truly amazing how he can endure so much lawfare and not have a break down. Someone said Trump is the only president who did not appear to age while in the White House. No one is perfect and Trump does have flaws, but he is truly an exceptional person and a true American hero. He is the man we need in this critical time--there is no one else who could do what he does.
ReplyDeleteI tried to pinpoint a reason as to why a jury believed Trump had done anything(without permission)to the accuser,I re-read what little coverage there was of the initial verdict in May 2023.
ReplyDeleteThe way Carroll told the story,Trump and her had met by chance at a clothing store. She was delighted to be asked for advice in shopping for a gift.
"We flirted."
Somehow they wound up in a changing room, where she said she was assaulted.Carroll went so far as to claim full rape.
To me,"we flirted" and they "wound up in a changing room"--together,is the key of the case,if you believe her story at all.
If you wind up in a changing room together after flirting, the odds that other CONSENSUAL activity will occur are very high--she had already consented to being alone with him in the private room.
Trump denied the entire episode and said Carroll and her two witnesses cooked up the story,in which Carroll supposedly told them the next day of the incident. How any verification of this conversation taking place could be done seems impossible after 30 plus years. At any time, the Carroll version could be concocted and agreed upon with the two other friends of Carroll's before the 2019 book Carroll had written, was released--which included the Trump story.
This was a flimsy case with non-existant evidence, yet Trump was found liable.
Trump was reportedly seen shaking his head and walking out of court last week saying,"This is not America,"but he's wrong--it IS America--the anti-White male,anti-cop America which I write as "America".
And Trump doesn't stand a chance in that "America".

Why shoot Rodney Glenn king of LA riots nine to only got $3 million where is getting paddled by the police?
ReplyDeleteWhy shoot the family of what is his name the Floyd boy in Minneapolis they only got 23 million for the man being killed while struggling with the police
Just quite funny about such things. I guess they want to just stick it to Don and have an 83 million will probably be reduced significantly quite a sum of money a tiny sum for for a crime to never was committed.
