    Unforgivable to boot them out in the first place.Not intelligent at the time either.These higher-ups who decided this policy were our best?I hope they're not still around making decisions

    Keep your rank. Seniority, back pay with interest, time lost counts for retirement, etc. Nothing else will suffice. And I would suspect some would go back but only a small percentage.
