read also| sources: “warrant issued for Billingsley in attempted murder, rape, arson case days prior to tech ceo LaPere’s murder”

“at 11:10 p.m., Billingsley was tracked by law enforcement to the marc train station on laurel-Bowie road in Bowie, prince George’s county, sources say.

GRA: police say he could be connected to as many as 4 other murders (and rapes) in baltimore. Good way to close up some open cases.

  1. The coverage of the Philly break-ins and Billingsley on the network news shows are blowing my mind.I don't get why--all of a sudden--they're interested in black crime

  2. Either it's a fluke, or an intervention. If the latter, heads will roll.

  3. Both stories are on all networks and shows like Inside Edition. It's as if they're all on the same page--which they no doubt, are.

Could be connected to 4 other murders and rapes? The US had been averaging about 3-4 black serial killers a year, then had a dip this year with 1 White one and several Mex ones but no black ones. I didn't think we could get through the year without a black serial killer popping up somewhere, so no surprise. They may tie him into some other killings but that's where it's going to end, there will be no monumental effort to tie him in with every missing woman possible, no way will he be allowed to eclipse the mass coverage Hueurmann is getting.

These should be death penalty cases but I think no death in MD. Too bad.

  6. I marvel at the delicious irony of this story. Ardent black lives matter supporter, aghast at what she perceives as the unjust criminalization and incarceration of black men, totally opposed to white men, ticking off all the woke diversity boxes, is murdered - and brutally - by a black male. Well, at least she died as she lived. So there's that.

  7. PREVIOUS RAPE VICTIM OF BILLINGSLEY'S(IN 2015)SAYS HE NEVER SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED.

(daily mail)A mom-of-two raped a decade ago by Jason Billingsley has blasted the Maryland justice system for releasing the 'seasoned predator' just seven years later to torture and kill more victims.

Billinglsey, 32, is charged with a shocking crime spree that culminated in the brutal murder of budding tech CEO Pava LaPere on Monday at her upscale Baltimore apartment.

Ann Marie Neeper, 35, has bravely come forward to DailyMail.com to say she had no idea her attacker had been released until his face flashed up in news reports Tuesday afternoon revealing he was the prime suspect in Pava's murder.

She spent 24 hours refreshing for updates and fearing for her life until Billingsley was surrounded by a SWAT team late Wednesday night and taken into custody.

'When I heard the words 'blunt force trauma' it all came flooding back. I can remember how hard those hits felt, how his d**k got harder the more he hurt me,' Ann Marie told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview.

The mom-of-two was in the throes of drug addiction when the violent felon posed as a Good Samaritan and lured her into an empty home in June 2013.

Billingsley, now charged with Pava LaPere's murder, was sentenced to 30 years for the assault in 2015, but was given a plea deal that saw him walk free last year

. 'If they would have taken the time to understand that he was a dangerous person and not just a case.'

The powerfully-built sex offender bludgeoned 26-year-old Pava to death while on the run for terrorizing a young couple in a violent home invasion and arson attack that took place one week earlier.

Billingsley was handed a 30-year prison sentence in 2015 for assault and attempted rape but accepted a plea deal that suspended 16 years of his stretch.

He shaved off another five with 'good time credits' serving just nine years and three months behind bars from the day of his arrest in 2013 to October last year when he was freed.

When Billingsley posed as a Good Samaritan to lure Ann Marie into an empty home and rape her ten years ago she was in the throes of drug addiction.
