"In almost every state, law students who pass their state bar examination, which allows them to practice law, take an oath to support the U.S. Constitution.
"But the country's top law schools teach future lawyers and judges the opposite.
"Many now teach that the U.S. Constitution, the supreme law of the nation since its ratification in 1788, is broken and should be scrapped.
"At least that's what two members of conservative think tanks believe after reviewing courses at the country's Top 10 law schools, as ranked by U.S. News and World Report in 2022. They examined the teaching at Yale, Stanford, Harvard, and Columbia universities and others.
"Law professors at elite schools are open about their disdain for the U.S. Constitution, the researchers found.
"'They're saying they want to get rid of the Constitution—they're making no secret about it,' said J. Christian Adams, president and general counsel of the Public Interest Legal Foundation. He's also worked for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).
"Hans von Spakovsky, a senior legal fellow at The Heritage Foundation's Edwin Meese III Center and former DOJ counsel, agreed.
"The radicalization of law schools is a threat to freedom not previously encountered in the nation's history, Mr. von Spakovsky said.
"In fact, some of them are very direct in teaching kids that they need to be revolutionaries, according to these courses that these law school students are taking," he told The Epoch Times.

2 things:
ReplyDelete1) 25% more women in law school today than men. 50 yrs ago it was 10:1 men. Women are different from men in the way they think and behave. There are reasons women were not allowed to vote until hald a dozen generations ago. And even then women were at the forefront demanding women *not* be allowed to vote. Who knows women better than other women?
2) More and more non-whites in law school and as sitting judges and politicians. When they say "culture is downstream from race" they are not wrong.
The old norms will not survive that kind of change. Something like the US Constitution depends on the commitment of a people to uphold it in letter and spirit. The only people with that commitment are white people.
Malicious indictments, prosecutions, and civil cases for reasons of race (Rittenhouse et al), political correctness (Charlottesville), loyalty to the regime (Trump, the Whitmer fednapping) are increasingly common. They have no shame about it. It won't stop. It is also a demographic problem.
Overturn it . . . and bring back the Articles of Confederation. So the rest of us don't get Vermontiforniafied.

ReplyDelete[Women are more conformist according to psychological experiments, with d ranging from 0.16 to 0.32. This means women are more vulnerable to peer pressure, similar to young teenagers.]
Women naturally seek safety in consensus. They need to feel part of a larger group more than men. This is genetic. Today this means supporting government or whatever the media tells them to support. The "latest thing". To counter the effects of this you must remove women from positions of influence and authority. Unless that happens, the social and political climate will continue to become more authoritarian and less tolerant of dissent.
OH, it is merely an intellectual exercise. WE would not really do such a thing. That is what they will tell you. Don't believe it.
